http://www.simplemachines.org/ Have you checked out this software?  It has a nice set up, lots of skins, additions that can be made, updated regularly, good administrative tools.

simplemachines = SMF = another board software = not as good as vBulletin = not even as good as the one we use currently

Thanks to all for your hard work.

Ask also the members, not only the moderators, for donations.  It will only go to running a safe reliable stable board.  A few dollars here and there add up.  :)
