If I may, the dimensions arenot complete until we include the Eleventh in our discussion of  the third, the ninth and the fifth. If we treat the Ninth as Lagna to fully comprehend of what the Past is presenting to us in potential, the Fifth, Ninth from Ninth becomes the Bhagya of Bhagya thus th...

The same sponge(s) obviously leave differejnt imprints at different times. The Sun which is rising is mellower than the one at Zenith and when at rest and not visible its mark is clearly not the same. This sponge colour should dynamically change as it courses through time. But Stephen Hawking speak...

On Saturday itself, we had a Jyotish meeting (Once a month affair) wherein the varga Charts were to be discussed. The confusion prevailing was palpably evident. The texts and anecdotal observations abounded. Probably, not enough attention, effort and analysis. Again, I observed that the 'perception'...

Last night, a friend who knows that I dabble in Jyotish, rang me up asking what is 'mangleek'. Apparently, his jyotishi had informed him that the proposal for marriage is unsuitable. puzzled, he told me that all seems to be proceeding well and now this 'mangleek' suddenly comes into picture! And thi...

It is also interesting that this dialogue seeking 'convergence' comes when Saturn has just slipped in retrogression and Jupiter is poised to go stationary as it readies to become direct. First, I should be careful in selecting words. Science obviously cannot be in a position to reach 'belief'. For Science is more than the Scientists. It has a propulsion of its own independent of the view of the Scientists. Stephen Hawking, the brilliant Scientist said in his earlier speeches some fo...

Astrology, particularly anecdotal conclusions have to be questioned I find that broad principles certainly have a consensus, it is only when the astrologer decides to 'know all' that the problem begins. Moreso Dada, Science itself finds belief as it approaches the frontiers of 'observable' knowledge...

One definition of knowledge has always been' justified true belief'! When the query is who is 'better'? the answers are grey, the water is still muddy on the surface. I sense that as you delve deeper it is as clear as it should be but presently the werewithall to dive and bring back clarity. They ce...

Rishiji,
I should have been clearer. The DK was not related to Dara Karaka, but the Desh Kaal of the jyotishi. Like the Desh kaal and patra of the seeker, the Desh and Kaal of the jyotishi is equally significant!

Ranjanda, Though it certainly was not a scolding but it should have been! The chage certainly is evident. The issue in contemporary traditional Indian society is the alarmingly accelerating trend of marriages tending to breakdown at the literal drop of a hat. This drives the concerned parents, mostl...

Ranjanda, To begin with, let me apologize on behalf of the 'silent' masses. Though silent but certainly not apathetic. Secondly, while you are right in scolding us please do not 'threaten' to go all silent! The entire human experience is a set of stories of relationships and associations with other ...
