Thankyou for the welcome. I won't be able to add more to this study until this weekend. I use my Tarot throughout the week, just don't have time for input daily because of schedule. ~Jennifer~

The Wheel of Fortune
This card to me in a reminder that everything changes ~ absolutely NOTHING stays the same. Both good and bad that happens in our lives. Yes, this card could be a little frightening if everything in our lives has been going pretty good for awhile but we can't "expect the worst" with the n...

Hermit
To me the Hermit represents the desire to turn away from the getting and spending of society to focus on the inner world. He seeks answers within and knows that they will come only with quiet and solitude. ~Jennifer~

Chariot
The Chariot is a card of action and of balance ~ being in full control. To me it's a reminder that there are two sides to everyone's story. There is no "black and white". It's a card to remind us to look at things fairly; but for the keyword of this card I still go with "willpower"...

The Lovers
Sometimes I do see this card as a "marriage" card but more often than not I see it as a triangle affair or hanging onto the false belief that things will work out in the marriage. To me, the Lovers card is hard to read in a one-card reading, but it's doable. When I have more surrounding ...

Heirophant
For a long time I didn't like this card. I brought up memories from past "church" experiences. The domineering aspect, etc. Now I see this card more as a helper with no selfish intentions of his own. Yes, the Heirophant in my opinion represents "conventional rule" - Pope's, p...

Empress/Emperor
I view these cards as "Mr. and Mrs. Major Arcana". Usually they don't come across in the same reading, but that's how I view these two cards as a team. Every good thing I associate about a marriage I associate with these two. Regarding pregnancy - To me the Empress represents this either...

High Priestess
The High Priestess represents inner wisdom and knowledge that really is available to all of us, but so often we don't realize it. I like her energy that is associated with the Moon. Yes, I think of the Moon as a little "deceptive" but the Moon and the High Priestess are a couple of my fa...

Magician
To me, the Magician is all about Willpower directed by INTENTION. That's maybe where the "darker" side of this card is revealed. The INTENT placed behind it. I can see where a person would get this feeling regarding this card though. ~Jennifer~

0 Fool Feedback
To me the fool represents an innocent or inexperienced person. "Everyman" who needs to make a decision.
There is a sense with this card that anything goes - nothing is certain or regular. This card also represents the complete faith that life is good and worthy of trust.

Hello, I'm a New Student
My name is Jennifer and I'm from Ohio. I enjoy studying the Tarot and use the Rider-Waite although I'm somewhat partial to the Robin Wood deck. It follows the Rider-Waite format quite a bit. ~Jennifer~
