I've found that, like many, the celtic cross is my favorite.  However, it all depends on the person that I'm reading for.  Some people just want a "quickie", like the kind I do at lunch breaks at work, when other people insist on telling me half their life story and want an "epic reading",...

At first I had a Lord of the Rings deck that I thought appealed to me, but once I opened the box, I found it very difficult to connect to them.  Once I saw the cat people though, I KNEW that I had to have this deck!  Not only is it beautifully colored, but I actually enjoyed finding the sy...

Absolutely!  By all means, it is perfectly fine to buy a used deck, but be sure to cleanse it properly.  My fiancee bought a deck of oracle cards at a flea market, cleansed them when we got home, and they work FINE for her.  Being a Wiccan, I make it a practice of cleansing ANYTHING t...

Well, the short answer..depending on their sign, it may have an impact on the interpretation of the layout.  Certain signs influence certain cards that way.  I've found that not everyone USES signs, but the more information I have, the more accurate I can make their reading...at least TRY ...

I have done a handful of email tarot readings, both for friends and for friends of theirs that I never met, and as long as I received the information that I needed (name, sign, question/concern, etc.), I didn't  have any problem with the reading.  Also, from the feedback that I've gotten, ...

I recently picked up an oracle deck from OneSpirit (which is an INCREDIBLE site for new age literature,by the way :) ) called the 2013 Oracle and am quite pleased with it.  The colors of the cards are vibrant and nothing short of breathtaking, and the African/jungle theme brings something new t...

I have to agree..I have done several larger spreads over the past year+, and on a few occasions, I have had NO appearance of one suit or another, and I just take it to mean that whatever suit is missing is not an issue, and that the lack of them actually helps the person by them having one LESS thin...

My fiancee has both an angel deck that she found at, of all places, a flea market and a Gilded Tarot deck.  Although I agree that there IS a great difference between the two, I ALSO believe that you should use whatever you feel most comfortable using.  She feels quite at ease with both, so...

I have chosen to keep a piece of sodalite with mine.  As to why, I honestly cannot say...but then again, is a reason REALLY necessary?  :)  Ever since I first laid eyes upon this type of stone, I have been drawn to it, and once I picked up MY stone, I knew that it was coming home with...

I have a Tarot of the Cat People deck that I keep wrapped in red silk and stored in a box with a rodalite that I empowered for the purpose of divination.  I used to have a Lord of the Rings deck that I absolutely HAD to have, yet when I got it and opened it, I felt nothing at all coming from th...

Greetings and Merry Meet

My fiancee Cathy and I are both Wiccans (self-initiated) and we are going to be handfasted this coming October 20th.  I have been doing readings for just over a year now, and by chance I stumbled onto this program.  I think this is a GREAT idea to do readings for people via email, and I lo...
