An Impatient Letter to all of us from God
That is a very good letter, thanks. It is like I said earlier. The various words of God are taught as truths, and I say take no man's word as truth. It is up to the individual to find truth. As for Jesus, he did exist, it is documented in many writings of that period.  ...

Well....you might se it another way: Belief is something you think is the truth....that might be the truth....but that not scientific is proved as truth. A scientific truth is something that can be controlled .....and that can not be changed after what belief you have....it's fixed....if not...then...

The TRUTH has already been SPOKEN and MAY NOT BE QUESTIONED!
I think the message I am responding to, by member <baddhabbitt> has one point that can be confusing: {Science is chased by those who believe, so science and belief are inseparable.} It is true that to be motivated towards Science and the Scientific Method when applied to perceived reality does req...

You can't blend "belief" and "science"
You can't blend "belief" and "science" 2+ 2 = 4 is for all to agree upon. Your Religion is yours....but not mine.....or maybe not my friends.....with that I say....there is many Religions and all give the truth to those who believe in it....but since all of them give some sort of truth....none of t...

Accepting money is not the same a receiving pay for work
Why is it ok to accept money as the tent maker then, rather than the time, energy and knowledge (gained through the givers own study and expense) that pertain to spirituality? Again we must go to the language of God. Genesis 3:19 19In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unt...

The discussion was on the religious aspect
I do not understand why what I wrote in reply to the original subject was applied to all learning. The subject was of paying money for "religious" things of the world. Understand that here I am using the word "religious" loosely. My intent though was to apply "spiritual" truth to that su...

Simple Answer
Matthew 10:8 8Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. [/b] Our example being Christ, He but borrowed the fishes and loaves and gave to all. He then returned what was left to the one he borrowed it from. All things retained with...

Your love and concern is greatly appreciated.
My thoughts this morning went to the blood transfusions that my wife had to have, that was very important in fighting the pneumonia that had set in because of the need of the respirator and her blood being so contaminated with bacteria that it alone could not battle all infection within her system. ...

32 yrs of marriage after less than a week our first meeting
My wife and I met while we were both stationed at Travis Air Force base. We were an unlikely pair. I was a C-5 Load-master with MAC and she was with the air refueling squadron which was SAC. She was Catholic, I was Southern Baptist. I was a total redneck, in fact the first da...

THE UPCOMING FALLING AWAY!!!!
The falling away that has been prophesied as a sign of the end times . 2 Thessalonians 2:2-4 (King James Version) 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand . 3 Let no man deceive y...

THE HUG I RECEIVED . I have an understanding that all people no matter what level or position in life has heartaches. It is the particular life in each person that looks upon something in their life that they may have the "whoa is me" outlook. With that said, then also I know that my situation c...
