I really hope so spirit.  I just worry about him and I don't want this to be an omen of sorts.  I really do hope that he was just fortunate enough to glimpse a beautiful angel.   When he began this story he said "I saw my guardian angel"

I just pray that it's a good thing.

Angels

My father just told me of an experience he had months ago and I wanted to get some feedback on this. A couple of months ago, he was tossing and turning in the middle of the night.  He was in and out of sleep and glanced over to his clock to see the time.  He saw and these are his words "an...

I asked myself the same question, so i sat down and meditated... and i truly know that the Phillies will win... although i don't want them to... though i lived in the area... i don't really know why... but i don't... what?  you don't like to see couches being torched?   :smt003 I like any...

I read a book recently that said "armeggedon means new beginning, not end"

I like to believe that all that we've read over time may have been misinterpreted for whatever gain, but in fact there will be a shift in enlightenment a "new beginning" for man on earth.

I recently lost my best friend.  For over 20 years we were 'joined at the hip' so to speak.  We did so much together.  IMO it is called being a soul mate to one another. We had both had other marriages that were a bust.  Together we were stronger than being one alone.   I don't know if that is atta...

Rhutobello is right. Novadays, family is not  as important as it used to be in the past. Not only in the USA, as I can read, but also in Europe where I live. Times have changed and they still do. However, I think that long ago even if people didn't like each other, they remembered that they are a f...

I'd rather be single and happy than be miserable with the wrong person . EXACTLY.  All that does is lead to heartache and pain.  Why go through all of that when you don't have to?   Don't let people tell you what to do.  You are an adult and you know what is right for you. Stay ...

I quit smoking 2 months ago using hypnosis.  It's not easy and it's day to day, but I don't have the cravings I used to and it's a lot easier to just not think about it.  It's very tough when I'm drinking, because that's when I smoked the most but thankfully I don't drink that much.  ...

Thank you both for your insight.  I've always been really fascinated with the idea of people becoming more sensitive after a traumatic event and being inquisitive by nature, I always ask the who, what, where and when.  :)

A very big hug to you honey.  I'm 30 and not married or engaged, so don't feel bad!  It's not a horrible thing.  Your family just need to accept that your not going to settle for something that isn't right for you. Not everyone gets married when they're in their 20's and it doesn't me...

I was thinking the same thing Spirit. I've heard more stories of people going the bitter route instead of learning from their pain.  It's so easy to be angry and hurt instead of reaching beyond to what lay beneath. I know that we all have some kind of psychic power and that it only needs to be ...

Thanks Rhutobello, I appreciate the grandpa hug.  My grandpa's have passed away and I do very much miss their hugs.  :) The thing about my family is we USED to be very close, USED to have the big family gatherings once a year and USED to talk to one another all the time.  But my broth...
