Bergamot is very useful - great for building confidence, elevating your mood, mental relaxation. A lot of people will include bergamot in money-drawing spells. Never wear bergamot and then go out in the sun - it causes photosensitivity and your skin can burn/become discolored.

I usually say querant...client is also fine. I think I would be perfectly comfortable saying client if when reading for free.

I find that drumming helps me. It seems that I'm more easily able to quiet my mind if I have an outside sound to focus on. Chanting mantras also helps.

I've never been drawn to an oil because of the sign it's associated with - rather, I find that I instinctively gravitate towards oils that help with whatever mental/emotional problems I'm having.

I love spearmint - functions much as peppermint does, but is sweeter and somewhat gentler than peppermint.

Jyotish gemology definitely concerns itself with the condition of gems - they must not be included, they must not be treated, there's usually a carat minimum...but if you're talking about crystal healing, then a stone doesn't have to be perfect - if it feels right to you, then it will help. As for d...

I've tried it in the past but couldn't really get into it. I read a couple of books with assigned meanings for the cards, but the meanings didn't seem to follow a logical pattern. I also tried using them as I would my tarot decks, but that didn't really work either. I guess I'm just naturally more s...

This deck is fine for a beginner. It follows RWS but adds its own flair. My onw personal reader, who is excellent, uses this deck exclusively. It has a very feminine feel to it, and if you like fabrics and tapestry type art, you'll most certainly like this deck.

I agree with Gem - this sounds like the deck just wasn't shuffled thoroughly enough. I've been reading tarot for years and have never seen that happen with a well-shuffled deck (not saying it couldn't happen, just that I've never witnessed it).

Some stones are better suited to silver, others to gold. Fire stones such as carnelian, citrine, yellow topaz, ect are well suited to gold mounting. Moon stones such as pearls are better suited to silver.
