Undeveloped Male aspect

I think the baby probably represents an undeveloped male aspect of yourself (you immediately claimed it as your child). Probably a part that was repressed early under pressure from your family (relatives abandoned the child as a baby) It's coming up now because that aspect is now needed in your life...

Not in the dream yourself

Because you do not appear in your dream as yourself, I would think that the dreams are pointing out some sort of psychological situation in your life in which you are not being fully "in your life" maybe maintaining an inappropriate level of detachment.

Food Scare

I predict we will have a food scare soon -- something like the dog food scare that involves a large section of food that everyone eats. People will begin cooking more to avoid contamination, but will discover that the contamination is also in things like flour we don't usually make ourselves.

New Grandson

When my grandson was born, I went up to his isolette about an hour after he was born and said "Hi, Baby, It's Grandma." He laughed out loud. I know newborns don't laugh so I was momentarily shocked, but then I realized he was laughing because this time I'm his grandma.

Grist for the Mill

Grist for the Mill by Ram Dass was so helpful to me I have been re-reading it for twenty years. His thesis is that we are all evolving and we attract to us the lessons we need to learn. Everything that happens to us is grist for the mill that brings us closer to God.

Toxic fertilizer - harmful to food supply

How many people know that fertilizer is not regulated and many toxins are being "recycled" by being put into fertilizer? Look it up on the web. I was shocked. Many of these toxins including heavy metals such as lead are taken up by plants and in turn poison us. Or are taken up by plants that are fee...

Wood buring stoves

If you live in a cold climate it would be a good idea to have a wood burning stove hooked up in your house even if you never use it just in case. If we have a blackout --- rolling blackouts are now common. You'll be able to burn something -- even if it's the inside walls of your house to stay warm. ...

A Woman winning the Iddirod

I suddenly "knew" that a woman would win the Iddirod in Alaska. I had never paid much attention to that dog race in Alaska except to think it was cool because I like dogs, but when I had this premenition I started paying attention because a woman had never won. Sure enough a woman did win that year ...

Male imbalance in China

Maybe the male imbalance in China will be a good thing. Eventually those males will seek out females and mate with them. I always think that a blend of the DNA is preferable to racial purity which becomes inbreeding in time. Of course their way of seeking out females may be to "take" them (probably ...

Sex in dreams

Sex in dreams usually represents merging with some aspect of yourself. In this case it is a new aspect. Maybe some new part of yourself you are just developing. Joining with or merging is usually positive. People in dreams (even your husband) usually represent some aspect of yourself. You didn't giv...

Children in dreams

Children (and lovers etc) in dreams often represent aspects of ourselves. Children usually represent some undeveloped aspect. If this part drowned in water--I would intreprete that as some undeveloped part of your self is being overwhelmed by emotion (water) The way this could work is say you have b...

Baby Dreams for most of us

Your baby dreams seem to have some sort of precog function. For most of us a baby or being pregnant in dreams usually represents some new part of your psyche that is growing or trying to be "born."

Dream Time

I have a feeling also that we actually meet with our spirit guides in dream time and perhaps discuss some of our soul contracts. We can also enter dream time while awake. One way I've discovered is to get a recording of drumming -- nothing fancy just straight drumming and just lie down and listen to...

Owls and Herons

I'm always impressed with the intrepretations given by eye_of_the_tiger. I suspect most of us will have nothing more meaningful to contribute than she does. The only thing I would add is that your friend might try to meditate of each symbol in the dream to see what her personal associations are with...

Dream Themes

I agree with the tips sent by eye of the tiger. In general water usually represents an emotional state, but it can also represent a spiritual state. We are baptized in water to achieve a spiritual state. Roads usually represent life and where you are on the road of life and how you are traveling dow...
