cards

Those are some interesting pictures. They follow the main pictures found on the Rider Waite, I think.

The Chariot

This card depicts taking action and taking charge to direct your life. Taking aim and then moving forward. It also says to me that it might be a good idea to ask for guidance to stay on track.

The Lovers

In my deck the Lovers is a dark card, showing two people who are obviously torn between staying together or pulling apart. I get the feeling they are both struggling and there is a dark figure standing next to them who seems to be casting a spell over them or at least calling on them to decide. So, ...

The Heirophant

For me the Heirophant is about knowing what is appropriate. Knowledge of what you should do, that is always within if you look and see. It is a card of order and morality, balance and rules/discipline. This card says to me it may be a time for accepting advice and guidance, being part of the communi...

The Empress and The Emperor

The two opposite aspects of  creative energy, female and male. The empress is the receptive, generous, mother aspect; the emperor is the decisive, active, male aspect. In my deck, the empress is shown with an infant at her breast. She is mother, the giver of blessings. The emperor is shown in a...

The High Priestess

She knows both sides of all dualities. She wields great power to bring opposing energies into alliance. She is a keeper of feminine powers and creative energy. When I see this card, I think there are secrets, mysteries that have not been revealed as yet, but that may be revealed soon in a person's l...

The Magician

The Magician is the part of us that discovers we create our own reality. He/she draws from all aspects of life and brings pure energy into expression in the world. In this way, the magician is for me a young person full of energy to discover and create in life. The ability to manifest ideas, emotion...

the fool

The fool tells us to have faith that whatever comes our way in life, we can handle it. It calls us not to be afraid of the heights and the edges we must walk along on our path. It shows someone who is not afraid, but is caught up in the journey and is filled with delight. In my deck he has a mischie...

Hi. My name's Rose and I am here. I have a Rider Waite deck, but my favorite is the Intuitive Tarot by Cilla Conway. I'm happy to be here and expand my understanding. Thank you for the class.

calling in the light

when I am surrounded by negativity, I call in the light from the universe, call it into my aura, so that I am surrounded by white light, it radiates through me. I picture a ball of white light above my head and then visualize a bolt of that light coming right down into the top of my head and then sp...
