Does this mean you are going to use the other door permanently? My alternate door is in SE. It's the laundry room though from garage. I try to make everyone come thru here. My husband still insists on using the front. He doesn't buy into the FS "mumbo jumbo" as he calls it. I'm Gua 3 so the E entry...

Suggestions for the East

My house faces East2. I want to take advantage of the annual 8 white star here this year but my star combos aren't very good (2m/5b/7w) this area is my foyer. What can I place here to aid with increased prosperity/wealth that won't aggravate the other stars? Right now I have everyone coming in a dif...

So, where are your eights, Silk?   My 8w is in my family room in SW. That room has both S and SW sector which have crummy stars (S-5m/2b/1w and SW- 3m/4b/8w) I've been at a loss for what to do here. So far all I have here is a lighted table fountain in the SW corner and over the window in the S are...

Hey all, clarification: 4 pillars is also called BaZi I'm not into it since it's hard enough trying to understand flying star, 8 mansion and the 5 elements Perhaps one day all this will come together for me. But like a true Scorpio I have to keep trudging forward until I've figured this out. This ha...

tootsiwon- From my readings, if the bumped out area is less than 2/3 of the area then you don't sweat about them. It's the same for bay window areas, window seats etc. You still use the 9 square grid stretched out over the floorplan. So if your entry is still primarily in the SE sector then you're o...

Vaastu & Feng Shui - Similar Sciences or Worlds Apart?

pirbid mentioned this topic and I thought others might want to check it out. :smt115

Same here pirbid  :smt006 I don't know about Vastu. I'm going to have to check it out. The journey with Feng Shui is such a frustrating one and life's hard enough as it is. Guess that's why you should know your BaZi. (heehee) Without growing up with an oriental background it's that much harder ...

pirbid -- I totally agree with you on "Essential Feng Shui" I can't believe I forgot to mention that one. One other thing I forgot to mention is that Lillian Too has a lot of Chinese folklore and superstition mixed with her remedies. She believes a lot in the use of symbolic objects. (It also helps...

I too have limited resource where I live. The idea of Feng Shui is not even mentioned. I came across it by accident after praying long and hard for something to help me with my life and marriage.  I've been muddling around with many sites, books and e-courses.  Much of what you'll find is ...

I agree tootsiewon.   Feng Shui is about creating harmony and balance within your environment. It wasn't about the purchasing of knick knacks. If you're into the objects that are sold on these sites then more power to you but if not then get items that blend with your environment. Chi will not ...

Hi sarahh My first suggestion is to check books out from your library to see if you understand them before buying them. Lillian Too has some great easy reading books on basic feng shui as well as 8 mansion and flying star. There is also a great one from Eva Wong "A Master Course in Feng Shui" don't ...

I'm not sure if I should be looking up crystal healers or for chakra balancing. Most holistic healers around my area are more accupuncture/holistic medicine type practitioners. Noone I've seen so far deals with crystals or such.
