Update and a new reading!
Well...it has been 4 months since my post regarding my job situation. Things have not gotten better. I have yet to see any offer from my company, no I should say THE company. When I ask my boss, he basically just says he is too busy trying to hire other contractors or temps to fill...

my interpretation...
Pirbid, I never read with reversed meanings since I can't remember ANY meanings to begin with! Plus if I did that, then I have to remember which cards came up which way along with which cards I drew...that's too complicated and advanced for me. LOL :) 7 of cups - lack of focus/organizati...

update...and another 5 carder!
Not too much has changed with my work, basically I had a meeting with my superiors, they are working with HR to change the terms of my employment and I am waiting to hear back on some kind of "offer". In the mean time, I had need of the tarot again this morning (yes in the car again!) so here'...
That's a shame...
Wow, that must be unnerving. I know some people book lovers are very attached to their books and are constantly trying to maintain their books at better than store shelf quality. If a crease developed on the spine, they would be dvastated. If that were to happen to my cards or to ...

Here's a possibility, just throwing it out there...
Who really knows how anything works, right? For those of you who actually feel emotionally/physically drained after a reading, I speculate on the fact that perhaps you are indeed amongst the few chosen in the world who have innate psychic abilities. The tarot is just a tool, which some of us ...

How to clear personal biases before a reading?
Hi again! I just wanted to hear some stories from other people on any rules, guidelines or exercises they use/do to avoid all those personal biases that might cloud a reading. I know that often times when I turn to the tarot, it is when I am in dire need of some guidance, some light of ...

In the car...
I have a mini Rider-Waite deck in a purple pouch that I've kept in my purse all the time for the past 5 years. It's great! When I get bored anywhere and I don't feel weird about whipping them out, I look at them. Still never memorized them though. The moment in the car, inspi...

own interpretation with full knowledge of own life
The 9 of Wands coupled with the 2 of Swords in the spread reinforces the fact that I have indeed been closing myself off this past year, to protect the balance of "things" I have worked hard to achieve. In 2006, I had a very bad year. It was great in terms of career but perhaps too muc...

Reading for myself - comments anyone?
Hi everyone! Newbie here! Let me introduce my experience with Tarot quickly. I've always loved the tarot: the art & imagery, the flexibility of it to describe various situations in life so generally & succinctly all at once. It is so versatile and portable that I am always in awe o...
