Questions from a newbie about courses offered here

So this is day two of my membership and I'm slowly getting through the boards. I've noticed many posts about courses available and had questions. How do the courses work? Are specific boards or posts only for members of the course? Is there a time limit on signing up for them? If a course has alread...

There's already been some very intelligent postings here, so I'll try not to repeat anything that's already been said. I try to be VERY tolerant of others beliefs. But having lived in Clearwater, Florida, home of one of their "headquarters," I was exposed to quite a bit of Scientology. None of what ...

Hi Pagan! Great post and your responses should be many because your question includes everyone at one time or another. I'm going to sit back on this till we get to the part of how to deal, without trying to manipulate the external world. Lol Good to meet you  :) LOL - Fair enough. Though manip...

pagan at work

Not sure if this topic goes in this section or not, so mods, please let me know if it belongs in a better area. But I'm curious about how others handle being pagan at work. Are you in a very open environment that is tolerant? Or is your work environment more conservative and not very tolerant? Are y...

Thank you, Lady of Avalon. Yes, I was trying to say blocking, but it didn't come out right. I really don't WANT to completely block this out, so I guess that's why I was asking about it. I'm kind of afraid of doing so, so I have to find a "happy medium" (pun intended  :smt004 ). I hadn't though...

I'm REALLY glad to find this post! Realizing that I'm an empath was the spiritual "clue by four" that I got hit with a few years ago. It explained alot of things about why certain people either made me feel giddy or anxious, I was picking up on their emotions. I really appreciate the articles and I'...

I don't know if you would consider this a sign, a vision, or what. When I was pregnant with my son, I was meditating. The deeper I got, I kept seeing images of animals. A bear, a wolf (not surprising since that's my husband's animal guide), a deer and an eagle. They kept just flashing across my path...

I have three tattoos, each from a very specific stage in my life and each represents something, though they may not necessarily be "pagan." My first tattoo I got was a Lotus blossom. I had lived through a divorce, another messy breakup after that, and the deaths of two family members. It was a symbo...

I tend to look at similarities between religions as well. Not necessarily because I think that differing cultures based their religions on each other, which may have been the case.

But I think that the Divine manifests itself in ways that we as humans can best understand and to which we can relate.

I can think of some people who ended up teaching me great lessons, but they weren't necessarily "good" teachers, if you know what I mean. I'm thinking specifically of teachers from school, but of course, anyone who imparts knowledge of some kind can be a teacher. For example, one of my teachers in s...

Hope I'm doing my intro the right way!!

Well, good afternoon, all! I'm Lachesis and I just registered. Since all web boards are different, I really hope I'm making this post the correct way. If not, I'm sure someone will let me know! A little about me - I'm 44 and a mom of 2. I'm currently studying my path with a new coven in my area. I'm...
