Chapter 15, "Other people in your life - the 7th house" - "ASTROLOGY IN MODERN LANGUAGE" by Richard Vaughan - the whole book is fasinating and deals with in-depth interpretation of the birthchart, but this chapter deals with chart comparison.
I loved it.

Linda Goodman's sunsigns page 317, 2nd Paragraph. I read it too long ago (1989) when I bought the book. Unfortunately I am the only Scorpio sun sign in my family so I could not investigate the theory. Nice to read about your coincidence. Nice to find so many Scorpios on this site, actually.
