Doomed?
Well we are all doomed.. it is just a question of when... I wouldn't say having Sun Moon and rising sign in Sag is any indication of doom, although you have some hard aspects to Sun. Don't know if I believe in the problem of a Wednesday birth... I don't think any one Chinese astrology sign will cond...

Classical Composers
Hi- You said that you had listened to Vivaldi, I though that you might like Bach as well. Try the Brandenburg Concertos. Some other favs and their works: Haydn- the string quartets, Surprise and Clock Symphonies; Mozart's Jupiter Symphony; Beethoven's odd numbered symphonies, esp 3,5,7,9; Ross...

Analogy Trouble
Hi - Of course the analogy of the prodigal son is imperfect, but that was the origin point of the discussion. You bring out some good points discussing a family life in the material world, and all its attendant problems. There are many many problems that are generated by God placing/allowing us here...

My Previous Post
Hi- My last post is gone, so I thought I would just give a Cap'n Crunch Prize version of it: God is ultimately responsible for everything good and evil, free will etc..- and evil ain't that wonderful in my opinion. And to clarify, the loving father (father in Prodigal Son) should have just kept us i...

Poetry
Sounds like you were firing on both Pisces with that poem. I like your other stuff as well. Do you feel you are more creative with your poetry right now- not even referencing anything astrological? I like what I wrote about 13 years ago best, but am not very thrilled with what a I am writing now- al...

Holy Scripture
Well I suppose you don't have to use any Holy Scripture if you don't want to. First let me say that anyone practicing any religion from the heart, I have nothing but respect for you. There are some beautiful truths in all the Holy Books I think. To use any of them as infallible sources of history or...

I don't really hate genres..
I can think of fewest country-western songs that I like- to me the lyrics are usually shallow. But it depends on what is included in that category. I like some Johnny Cash songs, Some John Denver (is he included?) Eagles, but maybe these are only barely within the genre. I like some of t...

Smashing Pumpkins
Hi- I agree that there is something very magical about some of the pumpkins' music. Gish is their best in my opinion, great from beginning to end. When I first heard "Bury Me" On the radio I flipped out. That guitar part in the middle still amazes me to this day. The emotion he gets out of the instr...

Hi everyone- Thanks for the feedback. Crow I haven't convinced you yet? (just teasing) well that is ok, I agree that it is for everyone to determine on his/her own. I just cannot believe something that I can't believe, if you get my drift. Prasanna- the comment about the Sun sometimes not rising at ...

God
Well I will try to say a few things here. I hope I don't antagonize any one. These comments all relate to the idea of God as a loving father which is a basic idea expressed the Prodigal Son story. Please don't get angry at this suggestion- but how do we know that Jesus even existed? The god Osiris w...
