Does it make a difference if I change the color to something almost invisible?  I mean, is just as effective as a bright visible color, or does it still penetrate my subconscious if it is more difficult to see - (and less distracting while I work)?

I've never had this done, nor have I even heard of it being done.  I'm so new to all this stuff, but so far I'm very interested in the things I've seen on this forum!
