There are many sites on the 'net that will teach someone how to do Reiki. A lot are pay sites, some purport to be 'free' but are going to try to charge you money before you're done, and then there are truly free ones who have your interest in mind, not their wallet. The three listed below are the on...

Re:intro...and to swetha...
Thanks to everybody for the warm welcome!!! Swetha, I wrote a post after I read your welcome to me and the question about learning Reiki. The link is below. About all I can add is study and practice as much as you can. Abhishek, it sounds like you ask interesting questions and have some very interes...

How To Be Attuned To Reiki...
This is response to swetha's question posed in her reply to my intro post. I know to some the info here will be controversial but I believe it all to be true. The first portion is excerpted from a post I wrote at different message board in a forum for which I am the moderator for alternative therapi...

What can eiki heal?/Abhishek
:) Interesting question, Abhishek. I'll do my best to answer it with what little knowledge I have. Considering the fact the Reiki works for Highest Good rather than a person's wishes, the client may very well not know what would best serve their Highest Good. In many cases though, the reason will be...

Swetha, about clasping your hands...
That's something I've not been read about or heard of in terms of Reiki and sleeping. I have a question for you about it though. What modality of Reiki tells you that? I know that self-treat and self-Reiju are meant to be done without crossing your legs, and with your hands apart in the various posi...

Re: What can Reiki heal?
Voltec2002, Reiki doesn't necessarily 'heal' anything. Reiki is given for the Highest Good of whatever/whoever receives it, so therefore, it may heal, or may not heal, whichever is for the Highest Good of the recipient. Perhaps, if it's the best for a person to be healed, it will heal, but in other ...

Reiki practioners = to God?
I'd say that perhaps a few might think so, but those folks are legends in their own minds. As James Deacon so well described it, "Reiki is a blessing, an instantaneously conferred 'Sacred Potential' - for healing, protection and spiritual development." It may seem to folks who have no actual knowled...

Intro for a new guy...
Hi everybody, As much as I hate writin' 'em, an intro is in order, so here goes... I've been studying Reiki for about 7 months now, thanks to a good friend who opened my eyes with a distance treatment. I was attuned R1, Usui modality, about 5 months ago, and R2 in April. My goal is to be attuned R3 ...
