Among other gifts or traits God gave to human existence, is free will choices.  As a friend of mine is wont to say..."perhaps God should have settled for a toaster oven instead."  We get ourselves into so much trouble exercising what we consider our free will choices. Re: God

Who is God to you?  Personal or Global or Societal? What is a good concept of God to adopt? Why would you make that choice? Where is God located? How can we get away from the human concept of God? 1.  God is spirit.  The same spirit is what is available to us all. It is the ultimate source of all e...

I can't say as I remember a specific mystical experience such as you describe Sun.  But I can say that each and every step of my life has led unerringly to where I am right now.   While I, too, feel like I am anticipating something ahead (you are never too old to learn something new! LOL) I am very...

Humor and games, the forum..

The "Humor and Games" forum...

Guys, the "Humor and Games" Forum, should not be a sub forum :)

It should be a main forum just under the, "I need a hug" forum. :)

The "Humor and Games" forum has alot of activity potential and is a forum that anybody can post in (be active in) and show an interested in.

Just love,

Because this topic is in "Philosophy" (which is cool!), "Do we also need a religious path?" A true mystic is not on a religious path. They and God just hang out together.

Re: Hey

:smt006 I could not have said it better myself. I can’t remember where i heard it but it feels so right to me to say that if our Creator was on top of a mountain and we were on the bottom that religion would be the path that we chose to climb to get to Him/ Her/ It, whichever way you want to see th...
