Justice, to me, represents both judgement and punishment, hence the sword and the scales. This, to me, represents karma more than the Wheel. Where as the other represents events, and the passage of time, Justice is the meaning behind the events.

The Wheel is round. It is a symbol of time, of life, of events. The figures nearest to it is a demon-like figure, the snake (the Devil), and the Sphinx with the sword. Reminds me of Murphy's law: the worst that could happen, will. It is give and get, action and consequence, cause and effect. There a...

The Hermit is a lonesome fellow, kind of the opposite of Strenght. Intrapersonal, retrospective, alone. (I am very much a hermit.) The Hermit can be the type of leader that must be in control of everything. He does not rely on his team members, and mostly ends up doing the work by himself (and compl...

I see the Magician and Persephone in this one again. The woman has Knowledge and Peace (the infinity, the flowery robe). This is a true representation of strength, not brute force. The woman recognizes that nothing is to be tamed, but one has to cooperate. She knows that in order to gain respect, sh...

I see a general in the driver of the Chariot. A tertiary ruler. He also has knowledge, the power to choose between right and wrong, blah blah. The driver is the head. The Chariot is the feet. Or (in manga terms) Oba and Obata; plot and the book; concept and the execution. The Chariot is about decisi...

The symbolism in the card Lovers is so obvious. They are Adam and Eve. Once again, I see correlation between yin and yang. Eve is on the left, and the left hand controls the right brain. Yin represents darkness, female, right, creativity. Adam is on the right, the right hand controls the left brain....

The Heirophant is also known as the High Priestess. The male side of Vesta. Yin and yang. His features remind me of a buddist monk, but he is clothed in Western religious garb... interesting. Well he is obviously not afraid of ruling. He also holds a sceptre, and points to the heavens. Two people ar...

Since the Empress is wearing a flowery robe, I think of her as Persephone. If the Empress is Persephone, then the Emperor is Hades. They both are holding mace-like things, a symbol of power perhaps. Persephone has more life around her, so I'm thinking this is the time of the year when Hades releases...

The High Priestess reminds me of Vesta. Of Vestal Virgins, actually (recently read a book on the topic). Vesta, or Hestia in Greece, is the tender of the fire. In the book I recently read, the Virgins tend to a fire, a hearth of Rome, that represents Vesta. They pray to her for peace, etc. The High ...

Using Waite. The Fool  reminds me so much of a image from an ADHD book, in which there are two pictures. The first shows a boy on a boat, with a fishing rod, with the caption "This is what Jimmy sees." under it. The second shows the same picture, but in front of him is a waterfall, with the cap...

Using images found online... is poor ;-; Rider-Waite. Hmmm since I like stories, I think I'm going to relate the cards to stories. The magician reminds me of Hermes, because he points the wand to the plants... In the painting "Primavera" by Botticelli, Hermes is also pointing his wand to the plants....

Sometimes I find the topics discussed in the horoscopes are completely irrelevant to me. Most of the time I don't bother, except to read the funny language.
