On my left (non dominant) hand I have a brown spot on my life line. The spot is on the bottom end of the life line, right after the dot it ends in 4 tassels.

Islands are circular, triangles are very pointed.
It COULD be a fish symbol. Look up fish in palmistry.
It tends to bring good luck to whatever line it's on.
If not, I'm sure it's a triangle from what your desciribing.

They're 100% triangles.
Actually I was doing my math homework and I stumbled upon asymmetrical triangles. Hhaha .

Anyways numbers don't usually form in palms. And islands are more rounded than triangles. In this point of view, nothing seems rounde or 'oval' shaped as I have to say.[/code]

I think they're just triangles. Are you creative in any arts? Triangles in Apollo mounts mean creative expression.
