Just to clarify

Auto suggestion, by definition, is Self Hypnosis, although many also include Affirmations under the Auto Suggestion catagory as well. In that case, self hypnosis is much more "powerful" and typically much faster than affirmations.

You are quite right when you say you just "know".  You cannot explain it, and only others that have had the feeling can truly understand. It is very odd but somehow comforting to have the feeling.

We all have "abilities" but we are not all receptive to exploring them.

Two sides of the same coin

Hypnosis cannot exist without suggestion. The suggestion, made during hypnosis, bypasses the conscious and is retained in the subconscious where it is acted on later by the conscious (if successful) Also, Freud did use hypnosis, claiming at the time it was the best means of accessing the subconsciou...

Question to Group

Just curious. How many here have either had a past life regression conducted, or would like to have a past life regression done ?

And if you had or have "feelings" of your past life experiences ?

NLP is a good tool

It can be a very useful self improvment tool. Several good schools are available and several good books outline the basics. It is fairly easy to use, but does require commitment on the part of the user.

Again Bravo

Another interesting article.  Interesting studies are currently being conducted at MIT with the IMDHA that may alter some of the conclusions made in this article. It is such a wonderful time with regard to research in all areas of "the mind".

Keep up the good posts.

Hypnosis works.

I am a Hypnotherapist, and if you desire calm, you can acheive very good results with simple self-hypnosis, or you could actually see a Hypnotherapist.  For simple calming, I would suggest you first try self hypnosis, it is fairly simple and quick to learn, and is much cheaper for this area. Me...
