If anyone out there would like some pain - let me know, my wife is waiting for a new hip joint and the pain is excruciating, I'm recovering yet yet another cancer op. and peeing is my new least favourite thing, so we've plenty to spare if someone feels like trying - please let us know.

I think it's as much to do with low self esteem, which yes is a learned behaviour. If you get told often enough that you're no good, that life is tough and then you die, that no-one will love you  because ........whatever then that is learned behaviour. Think of all the little girls whos family...
