computer readings vs. phone readings

Post by lylakpetals » Thu Jul 17, 2008 5:28 pm

I'm weird.. my gift is psychometry... but I am also sometimes clairvoyant over the internet.  But when I try over the phone, i have like 0% accuracy.

Why is this?

Have you guys noticed certain electronic teleconections working better or worse than others?

We all need an energy connection to be able to do readings through any media.  In person there is the whole body energy available and that, of course, is easiest of all.

Holding an article (Psychometry) is a wonderful exercise to open yourself to the energies of all the senses and using touch (both tactile and emotional) you can form your message.  Again, it is about your ability to use the energies to form a psychic impression that works for you.  It is the attunement with your client that is important.

We are all talented in many ways - some more than others.  Use what works and practice to enhance that which is not as strong.

Phone readers don't have a very good reputation.  Having been involved with a particular groups I can certainly give some insights as to why - they want to keep you on the phone no matter what to run up the fees.  Doing a good job is not at all on the agenda.

Is this what cybermancy is all about?

Somebody told me just a while ago that sometimes it's even harder to read live, as the person might be on guard and put up a wall.
It's a beautiful life. Believe.

I have never heard that one Antigone!  In person they can not totally block their energy - they can make it difficult - but why come for a reading and not share?  That doesn't make sense - but do it some will!

I am not sure of that term you used.  But it is all about energy.  Some will work better with some energies, while others have their strong points.  We are all so individual.

Well 8 years later and cybermancy is interpreting computer generated oracles and readings?  It has grown immensely including here at MB with the pc generated oracles provided lol :)

Talia,

Yes it is an exhaustive list, but surely one of the main reading types which is conspicuous by its absence is CLAIRVOYANCE.

Chaomancy (divination by aerial visions) sounds like clairvoyance, from a position high up in the air.

Also divination is defined as the practice of seeking knowledge of the future or the unknown, by supernatural means.

Not all types of readings are an attempt to predict the future, and the use of the word supernatural only reinforces the dangerous belief that psychics are given special powers by the Devil or evil spirits, and that therefore divination is the same as witchcraft or Satanic worship.

To seek knowledge of the unknown is to know what is presently unknown, but that which is hopefully some time in the future knowable.

I think that whoever compiles these online dictionaries should be held responsible for a large amount of the superstition and confusion and unnecessary anxiety about what a psychic really is, knows and does.
