Yuppers.  HTML is a bit different from BB code.

These boards and most forums use BBC code.  HTML is too easy to hack and cause damage to the forums.
I could not see your image in the first post so I experimented to see if it would show using the bbc image code.
All the little images I post use that code,

You can add your images to photo bucket, or where ever you can store your images and then use the code

to encase your url for the image and it will show on most boards.

im not too sure about all the bbcode or html code stuff I have a photobucket account can I bring a pic from there? is that what you are saying?

Yes, this it the code you tried to use. (I put spaces after the first < and before the last >)

As you can see, it says photobucket is where you image is stored (the red part)
It also give the url for the image. (the green part).  I lifted the url out of the code you used and used the bbc code

It would show your image now, except I put a space after the last g and before the last [ .  
Hope that helps. It is called bbc code so you know what code to use.
