Purpose of Life

That (finding God) is the only reason for our existence?

One of the most common ways in which we learn to find and better understand God is precisely through our relationships with other people, whether they be our family, friends or work colleagues. Or complete strangers.

Consequently while the above quote emphasises that God must be given a higher priority in our lives, we cannot only meditate for several hours each and every day looking for a vague and abstract God, and we cannot therefore isolate our jobs, friends or even our material interests from the ongoing search for the Divine in our lives.

So you are agreeing with me that our understanding of and search for God cannot be isolated from our relationships with significant people in our lives?

From what I understand about this every person we encounter on our journey, even if we only meet them once,  automatically becomes significant.

I absolutely agree with you 100% only I have used the words differently. Whatever gifts we have is not just for us but to be shared with others. If we have more money then either teach others how to earn more or Donate. If we have more knowledge then others then guide others and try to bring them up. Whatever we have in excess which is good is not just for us but others should also get benefit.

In short we must have a Big Generous Heart. To reach HIM that is must otherwise no matter what you do you won't get Peace, Love and Happiness.
