Poochie

Post by Nicole » Mon Feb 18, 2008 12:32 am

Been checking this cute little Chihuahua dog for 2 weeks..
Talk about pissing ones self off that would be me~!!
I have a credit card to make my credit better..
Well we drove 4 hours to pick this but little poochie up..

Who forgets there Code #, Yeah you got it Me~!!
I never had to use it, I aways say credit at the stores....
Talk about being upset..
This little dog is 7 years old I wanted to adopted her for our other little male dog for company..
I came home empty handed and was so sad all the way home..
I felt so bad my husband drove all that way and they don't except credit cards...
I hate them things I rather have cash,
but no hubby says you need credit cards this isn't the 80's Nick...
She was a little darling so cute I felt right in love, in a blink of a blink....
I'm so angry and upset I wanna get sick..
This is why I don't like asking or want anything...
Wasn't ment to be I guess..

I am sorry. I know disappointments are horrible. But no reason to get sick over it.

I am sure that what happened is what is ment to happen. As dissapppointing as it is...

Maybe it is sickly, or maybe your dog and the poochie wouldn't get along, or maybe there is a sad little girl that the universe
thought might need it more. I have found that to be the case alot of times...and I am sure the replacement/right animal will show up shortly

True story...When my husband and I were dating...his roommates kitten ran away. My cat was soooo lonely and becomes very annoying when he is lonely.
We spent an entire day looking for cats...we went to the humane society, they didn't have any available (can you believe that?), we called those in the paper
that were free or very cheap (didn't want expensive pure breds), and they were all gone.
We even called friends that had farms, and none had had a liter in a while. And we didn't want an older barn cat.
I said it would be great to get an older cat that was neutered and declawed.

That night after hours of looking...and calling...and coming up with NOTHING and gave up....my mom called me..."I have your cat here"
I was like what? She had NO idea we were looking for a cat. She had a stray cat that she heard meowing on her back porch (in 30 yrs of living in that house we NEVER had a stray)
She said he was sooo friendly, very nice...very skinny...needed some love...and anytimes she would try and go in the house he would just yowl for her.

I raced over...he was skinny...he had a hurt leg, but he was neutered and declawed. Dumped him in a flea bath when we got home...and he acted like
we were his best family. He is a great cat. We had to foster him out when we moved for a couple years and Husband's mom took him, and she refuse to give him
back...she still has him (9 yrs later...they figured he was like 7 yrs old at the time we found him).

so as sad as you are now...things have worked out the way they should for now. Even though it sucks sometimes. <hugs>

Aww thanks ladies,:smt020
I can't sleep I woke up and got a drink and have poochie on my mind...
My husband said he would drive 4 hours again to get her and 4 back home..
I fond the 4 code # when we got home...
It's just such a long drive where we both have back troubles..

Our son don't understand why I didn't fight for her and what not..
I may do the drive again and call them..
It's 1:30am right now...
I know it's meant to be...
The odd things is I was always brought up with dogs small ones and labs and a Great-dams poodles..
But this tinny little sweetie is so small and cute...
None was looking at her..
I'm scared they will put her down...
It's so over loaded with cats and dogs in Maine...
My heart can't bare the thought...

My mind was set to leave it alone. "But" I'm awake and had 8 hours sleep now I'm charged to head back..LoL
Thanks a bunch ladies your words got me thinking, I may head back again~?
I'll let you know in a while..

Hugs,
:)
