Well, I know we have a lot of negative traits, but we have great positive ones as well, I don't agree with it and not sure how funny the quote that we are the most murdered is.  My capricorn father is a totally cold *&&*V&*^ and I had a very cruel abusive leo boyfriend.  Scorpios have negative traits, but so do all the other signs.

Scorpio can be the worst, but it also has the most potential. The higher state of Scorpio is likened to an eagle. Scorpio has a lot of intense emotions, but if one can not be overwhelmed by this, the potential power is phenomenal. I have Mars in Scorpio which as I have read requires self-control/mastery, and strength of character if the energy is to be channeled in a healing way. The lower state of Scorpio as depicted a Scorpion that has claws to hold it's victim and then a stinger to sting them. I grew up a around a sun in Scorpio energy, and have seen glimpses of it's potential, and it's state when afflicted.
