Benefits of Apricots?

Can anyone tell me how beneficial it is to eat apricots? i really am interested in knowing this because not much about it is spoken on the net. at least i couldn't find.

Eating apricot is good for health.It is good source of  Beta-carotene which helps to prevent the heart disease and cancer.
Apricot contain fat soluble nutrient and minerals like potassium,iron,silicon,vitamin C.
Consumption of apricots improve the constipation,digestion.
Apricots is also good for skin,it keep skin healthy and acne free.

It has proteins and vegetable oils,its seeds are used for cancer therapy.also it can be used as substitute of almonds in food.Mostly we see apricots in countries like California, Washington, and Utah during  December and January.

They can be very beneficial ... if you are not allergic.  I am, like with pecans.  They are not of any use to me.  I would check with your doctor.
