Health is Really Important For Everyone

Post by Ryerson » Mon Apr 04, 2011 4:05 am

Cholesterol is essential for animal tissue cells; however, many people around the world suffer from high cholesterol which is the health issue of the 21st century. It has increased risks for cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, stroke and heart disease. A lot of people know about the need to lower cholesterol. But many don't know how to  And most don't know that cholesterol is naturally produced in the body and is necessary in order to make healthy cells, vitamin D,nerve insulation and essential hormones.
You may try to naturally reduce cholesterol. You will be able to benefit fully from these natural treatments for high cholesterol instead of uncomfortable injections, surgery, prescription drugs or nasty side effects. Learning how to lower cholesterol with chemical drugs, is easy but like most medications, these drugs come with a whole host of their own problems namely rapid memory loss, muscle pain, tiredness and irritability, liver inflammation, etc.
Herbs and other natural products have been around a lot longer than the standard prescription drugs used today to control high cholesterol. They are usually derived from plants, trees, and other sources. There are many natural products that can be used as an alternative to treating high cholesterol. This may be especially optimal to patients who are regulating their cholesterol levels with diet and exercise. Natural products reduce cholesterol levels by dissolving fat in the blood. Thus choosing natural ways to lower cholesterol should be the first choice to cure your high cholesterol problems as your health is important to you.

Yes everyone would totally agree with you, health is really wealth.  ALTERNATIVE TREATMENTS CAN ALSO PLAY A VITAL ROLE IN the betterment of your health.

I want to ask is there any genuine fast method to reduce belly fat?  I have seen so many smart people, but only stubborn belly fat  bothers them.

Ayurvedic Diet Chart

Post by shreyapriyam » Thu May 05, 2011 7:34 am

The diet is an essential factor for the formation of the human body. According to the Ayurvedic concept, there are both positive and negative attributes of diet. Ayurveda deals with a holistic approach of healing; therefore it covers the diet factor in detail. No medicine will work without proper diet.

Diet along with the daily habits is crucial to the health of an individual. But there is no specific diet for all people in general.

According to Ayurveda every food contains doshas and the five elements in different proportions. Therefore, one man’s food acts as a poison for the other. The consumption of different food will affect the elemental balance in a both positive and negative manner. The various benefits of personalized diet are:

Better digestion, metabolism and elimination

Improved sleep, concentration and memory

Strong immune system

Controlled weight

Better health

One factor has remained a matter of great debate worldwide over the ages and that is the vegetarianism vs. non-vegetarianism controversy. All have a common belief initially that non-vegetarian diet is superior and is full of energetic ingredients and thus provides more strength and stamina. But now it has been proved scientifically that vegetarian diet is more natural and useful to human nature.

Many researches have shown that non-vegetarian diet contains cholesterol-saturated fatty acids that are the root cause of various diseases like coronary heart problems, cerebrum-vascular accidents, eye disorders & high blood pressure. The non-vegetarian diet is usually heavy for the stomach and produces acidity that can result in problems in the gastrointestinal system.

In the vegetarian diet the fruits and vegetables are rich in dietary fibres that reduce the chances of coronary heart diseases, intestinal tract cancer, piles, obesity, diabetes, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome and gallstones.

The diet should always be planned keeping in mind one’s body type. There are various foods that should be avoided and some are preferred in different doshas.

Ayurvedic Natural Herbs For Depression

Post by shreyapriyam » Tue Jul 12, 2011 6:37 am

Ayurvedic Natural Herbs For Depression

Ayurveda attributes depression to an imbalance of one of the three doshas (the biological forces governing all life processes): vata, pitta or kapha. Some people can also suffer depression because they lack awareness of themselves and their spiritual center. Because Ayurveda treatments are all natural, they can be used in conjunction with traditional treatment (anti-depressants) as well as alone.

1.  Determine what type of imbalance you’re experiencing. You might need to consult with an Ayurveda practitioner if you have no experience with the symptoms. As a general rule, vata imbalances are characterized by weight loss and anxiety. Pitta imbalances cause irritability and the desire to eat sweets. Kapha imbalances cause overeating, low energy and paleness.

2.  Try a universal herbal formula. This can help with imbalances of all three doshas and is best if you don’t know what exactly is causing your depression. To make the infusion, mix five parts Asparagus racemosus, three parts gotu kola, three parts Nardostachys jatamansi and five parts Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia). Drink one-quarter tsp. three times a day.

3.  Mix equal parts of gotu kola, trikatu, licorice and Nardostachys jatamansi to treat kapha imbalances. Add 50 percent less of calamus. Mix well and then add one-half tsp. to a cup of warm water. Drink three times a day for as long as needed (until symptoms disappear).

4.  Make a tea using Indian basil (one-quarter tsp.) and sage (one-half tsp.) to treat vata imbalances. Add to a cup of hot water and let sit until the water is cool enough to drink. Have a cup as a tea twice a day.

5.  Mix equal parts of brahmi, jatamansi and shatavari to treat pitta imbalances. Add a tsp. of the mixture to a cup of warm water and drink as a tea. You can have this up to three times a day, depending on the severity of your symptoms.

I agree money may come and go in one's life but money cannot buy good health we owe it to ourselves in order to enjoy the quality of life to look after our health.
Prevention is better than a cure.

High Cholesterol diet may result into hypertension and cardiac disease which would ultimately lead to bad health on the permanent basis. Keep your diet simple and natural as life is precious and you only have one.
