forgetting tarot reading?

Post by Subho » Sat Dec 11, 2010 10:04 am

I met someone who has to say that he knew tarot reading but forgot in course of time.

Is it possible to forget tarot reading, once you learn it?

Hi,

MMMM, I don't think you will forget how to read Tarot even after 20 years. However, it depends on how many readings was done by the person. If it was done following the strict regimes in a book, and from the book. Perhaps yes!

Most Tarot readers attach their own interpretations to the cards, and don't easily forget them. Even stopping to read, the bare basics will remain, and perhaps you would need to refer to a book again.

On the other hand, reading Tarot has a lot to do with intuition as well, the psychic side of understanding and doing divination, that is never forgotten or doesn't stop at the drop of a hat. The reader who does not practice these skills will over time, become unsure of the messages received, but it's unlikely.

It is impossible to say that the reader completely forgot, or may be unsure, in which case it would be better to say, he/she forgot how to read.

Blessed be.

I think it's possible to forget anything, it all depends on how well it isd learnt in the first place. I can suddenly sing the words to a song playing on the radio that I haven't heard since I was a kid! I think it also depends on why they stopped reading too :)

Are you thinking of taking up reading Tarot? Or do you read already?
