I agree! I would much rather travel, too!
Maybe camp in the Grand Canyon, visit the Falls, Sedona, Las Vegas for some fun, meet new people, check out some of the gold mining in Arizona (by myself or with a group), then head back to camping again! :smt006

Hmm camping or reading a book
I was torn between the 2 and decided on camping only because I just finished nursing school, and the idea of readng a book is just not appealing right now. Normally I love reading, just not now. Camping sounds like a great idea, alone in nature.. just me and my thoughts. Sounds good to me.

Well, I guess I'll be the first to post "Gambling in Vegas"!!
I love it!!
My second choice would be Camping in Nature -- as long as that involves my motorhome...........
Third choice would have to be attempting to bungee jump! It sounds fun!
I'm always running in a hundred different directions (California way of life!!) so if I were to stay at home and read a book, I'd be asleep within 10 minutes!!! I love reading though, but once I decide to relax, I'm out........

I'm actually doing it.
My wife has gone on holiday with the grandson, there is football (soccer) on the TV - European Champs, I have a large brandy and coke on the comp. desk, bit fuzzy round the edges and the keyborad keys are moving around a bit but life feels good right now.

Some days you are the cart and other days the horse; either way you still get shafted.
