Is that because of the coolness of the colour itself, or because we're probably the only ones who can spell it?

LOL. Brains the size of planets and we are interested in colour.
I'm lucky I'm colour blind so it's all wasted on me. Quite like blue though (at least I think it's blue).

You are quite correct, of course, Prof. Akers
. All colours are just different shades of grey, which can, in any case, only be discerned in full-spectrum, white light.
Knowing as we do that the answer to the Meaning of Life, the Universe and Everything is forty two, the rest doesn’t really matter, as nothing has any purpose beyond that. There is therefore really no use for colours, is there? If it were not for the question for which the mice are so diligently seeking, we would not be here to discuss any of this.
It’s most disheartening … not that anyone cares what I think.

my colors coincide with my feng shui numbers/ or better yet kua/gua numbers. With the right color in the right section-I have all my bases covered. I love purple, and blue which goes good in my wealth section.

Interestingly enough, I've always been partial to purple and blue. Those two colors just make me happy.

Yep it is a tie.  Dark blue or purple.  Makes for an interesting wardrobe.. and of course there is always white too.... Have to think of all those easy to match, goes with everything, dresses up everything crisp white shirt
