Pisces - StarStone

Post by Abhishek » Tue May 17, 2005 7:46 pm

Your starstone is the precious Moonstone. They are not brilliant stones, in fact, all of the specimens, from the peach and grays to the gem-quality blue and rainbow-colored pieces, are soft and translucent. The physical appearance of a stone often suggests its spiritual qualities, and moonstone's most important attribute is the ability to assist us in calming and soothing the emotions. When one has achieved a state of emotional calmness, this stone may be used to open a path to an intuitive understanding of spirituality.

As the Moonstone is a very lovely and misterious stone I must say that my stone of choice is the Amethyst as I love purple color.

Most all of my jewlery is amythist I will take a look at some with the moonstone for me and see how I feel with the stone.

I also love amethyst. But there is a special spot in my heart for a moonstone. I'd love to have a moonstone and amethyst necklace or earrings. Maybe a design with a pentacle....that would be so lovely!

Don't want to sound impertinant but I have never heard of the moonstone being a starstone for pisces.  I have always believed it to be amethyst or aquarmarine or even bloodstone. Moonstone to my limited knowledge has been acredited to Cancer, ruled by the moon. Neptune does not seem very Moonstoney to me. Is a starstone different to a birthstone please?

I'm really not sure.  :smt017
I did a Google search for starstones and haven't really found anything that looked intelligent. (except for these really cool light up stepping stones... which is WAY off topic):smt002

I'll keep looking and let you know what I find!

In Charms Spells & Formulas - Ray Malbrough listed the Moonstone as having an Astrological association with the Cancer Sun Sign.  It added that Moonstone would have great power when those persons having a Sun, Moon, or Rising Cancer .

I have read in other places that Moonstone is a stone for the Pisces, and I will look to find more.  Believed it was along the lines that  Bloodstone could be substituted for Moonstone.  I will check into my library and get back on this one.

Moonstones come in a variety of colors, and happens to be my favorite stone next to Amythist.

Ah here you are!  Thank you for your added information about Pisces.  As to the Feb 20th that is just so I could claim my Pisces symbol.  I was born on the 19th of Feb.  2 part Sandalwood with 1 part Cinnimon good stuff, very strong though...made me very out of it.  HAHA.  But this is another issue.  Thought that the Pisces tree was the Willow.  Is it different in your if you go by the day instead of sun sign?  hmmmm will research some more.
