Does sever contact Dermatitis on your fingers change your fate?

I have sever chronic dermatitis on all my fingers it has wiped out the lines that should be there and replaced them with shiny cracked skin.  Just curious if this would effect things in my life or not.

No other problems begin due to erasure of te lines, but skin problems.
