Namaskaar Pravinji,
You are so right.
In fact I know a person who reads palm but has no inkling of palmistry.

He is so good that even people knowing and studied Palmistry cannot even come close.

wonder why he needs to show that he is reading a palm when predicting something for a person.

vivek.

:) Hello to all! I'm new to this forum, looks like a great place to be.

I don't think it is necessary to be a psychic to be a good palm reader. You would still need to learn your basics in order to interpret this line or that mount.

However, I know there are readers who are also psychic and can read by picking up the subject's thoughts and energies. They are psychics first, and palmists second. Yes, one imagines that they do not need to actually read palms in order to do a reading of someone.

You need to interested to learn palmistry, having enough independance of thought, having a scientific mind, fond of logic, interested in the pains and happinesses of people to be a good hand reader or palmist.

No, Palmistry can be learned but you need to be dedicated....
there is much to learn and no two hands are alike. Books are
neccessarry! The more you practice the more you learn... Don't
be shy to say you do not know what a line or mark means...
and look it up in the books.  When you you see this again in
anothers hand ... you will automatically know...

I think it is fascinating

Have fun with it ... Reading one persons palm at a gathering
often creates a line up of people who want to meet you .... and will
also let you practice. I like that there are no claims to being *psychic,
when doing this... less performance pressure...  room to be wrong?
I only do it for fun, however with good intentions always.

I found that after a while I was seeing/sensing things ...
that were not out of the 'book'  Hmmmm .... Intuition?
I doesn't happen for me by looking at a handprint, only when
I have contact with the hand I am looking at..... Psychic ability?

I think the hand can become a tool... like a crystal ball does for some.
Maybe that is why psychics who do not read palms > according
to the 'books and scientifically > are looking at the hands...
a focal point.

Taping into your own psychic abilities can begin in many ways...
I think practicing Palmistry is one of them.
