Sorry I was kept away due to my other occupations for the last few days. I have studied a few other hands of people aged above 90 years, I  have noticed the above common points:=

1) Long and distinct Sun, fate, head, life and heart lines.
2) Powerful thumb with all its phalanges strongly developed.
3) Long mercury finger.
4) Lines  are generally very deeply cut.
5) The fate and Sun lines above the heart and head lines very prominent.

In this 103 year old hand case the life line spreads more over the hand than others.
In short, an accomplished hands.
Probably the deeply ingrained lines show intense memories the native carrying
Expert comments all you great ones please.

You have produced much for my records..... the print of Rabindranath Togore !

Note the perfect conic palm, perfect in elasticity, healthy spacing of the fingers... a wonderful human machine.....
The square in Jupiter probably denotes that protected wisdom, protected image in society. A square is sopposed to protection Again the need for protection arises if there is a square. Any lead on this?
However it does increase the benefic rays of the mount. Good fate line sowing directed an a mature super ego/sense of God.
A high set Saturn mount( loneliness and viraha in conunction in a healthy blend= result aloneness. He could be alone without being lonely.
Does he have a ring of Solomon?  Does the  healthy curve denote healty masculine tendencies in love?
For now, and most expectantly from the respected palmists around.....

Namaskaar Rahul ji,
the square is called a teachers square.
When the Ring of Solomon forms one side of a box below the Jupiter finger, it is the sign of a natural teacher. She or he will naturally fall into the role of teacher most easily.

See the link:http://www.handanalysis.com/psychic_rings.html

btw the palm image was from a palmistry book available on the web page of Digital library of the Govt. of India.
http://dli.iiit.ac.in/

type palmistry and you will find the link in the results.
type Samudrik and you will get a old book in Sanskrit with Hindi translation.
there are many Jyotish books also.

Namaskaar Rahul ji,
We try to determine longevity of the subject by various methods.
A method is given in Bhat's book which he highly recommends
I quote:
"Method III:
If the sum total of all the length of five fingers extend only up to
the Hridhaya rekha from the elbow, then the holder is short lived. If
the lenght extends to the root of the little finger, then he will die
after fifty. If the lenght extends to the middle joint of the little
finger, then he will live for sixty five years. If it reaches the
last joint of the little finger he will live upto eighty years. If it
reaches the tip of the little finger, then he will live for hudred
years. Proportionate reduction should be made according to the place
it reaches."
For practicl purpose he recommends the following method
"Take a peice ofthread about eighteen inches long. place one end of
the thread over the tip of the little finger, draw it over the whole
length of the little finger; and mark the length over the thread.
Then keep this mark over the tip of the ring finger and similarly
draw the thread over the finger and once again mark. Similarly find
the entire lenght of the remaining fingers.
Then see how the total lenght stretches from the elbow to the little
finger. In the light of the observations above, calculate and fix the
longevity."

I have given this only for academic interest and for disscussion
amonst us. Please dont use this and start predicting the longevity of
everyone in your family and friends.
This requires much testing and obviously has limitations.
The life line and the Hand as a whole should always be taken into
account for having an idea of longevity.
It is never good to predict longevity but always good to subtly warn
the subject to take care of health, live a healthy life and take care
and precaution, suggest some remedies (Mrityunjay is the best) and
leave it at that.

comments eagerly awaited

Namaaskar Vivekji, (Regarding Rabindranath's palm print)

Post by rahulbanerji » Sun Mar 25, 2007 7:22 am

This information you gave about this square is an unique one. I have not come across this. But I have gut feeling you are correct. In which book did you come across this, or is from your experience?
A square in Jupiter is known to be a protection against bad reputation. Does that mean the native does something in his life to attract bad reputation, but somehow does not attract bad reputation?
Thank you for sending this Government site lead. I will check it up in time.

Namaskaar Rahul ji,
all the major (life, head, heart) lines have a strong connection with Jupiter mount.
Guru and Shukra are the two planets which promise longevity and protection.

Speaking of longevity and death - i read the demise of the man we call UG (U. G. Krishnamurti), one person who spoke the truth and fearlessly.
Thank you UG for becoming UG.

Square on Mount of Jupitor

Post by Pravin Kumar » Sun Mar 25, 2007 2:49 pm

Rahulji ,

Square on Mount of Jupitor means protection from Loss, especially financial loss and also considered by many as Teacher's Square. Verified this thousands of time.

One person lost his money somewhere in Africa. He was in India and I met him in the train. He was relating how he got the money from the person who cheated him. And he did get it the next day by going to the police and taking active interest in the case. I requested to see his palm for the square and he had a very prominent square on his Mount of Jupitor.

Another fellow almost fell to a confidence trickster but just saved himself in time by rechecking the facts and caught hold of the person and thrashed him. He had a square on the Mount of Jupitor.

There are many many cases I can mention. Even to consider it as Teacher's Square is correct and this too has been verified by me many many times. Such people have tendency to teach even though may not be teachers. Off course quite a few of them are teachers.

I read the square as a person who even if he loses money will recover it if not from the same person or area then in some other way. But he does not lose on the whole.
