Mark of VooDoo?

I have been told that I have the Mark of Voodoo on my hands.  It looks like a starburst and is on both hands between the head and heart lines.  There is also a large X immediately to the left on my left palm and immediately to the right on my right palm.  The person refused to explain what this meant.  Can someone help me please?
