What do the Black Dots on the palms of people mean?

Many times i have seen "Black Dots" on the palms of many people, what is its significance?

There is no reference of Black Dots on a palm in Western Palmistry which I follow.

I've found various things attributing various meanings to dots in specific locations but have not taken this info in. I prefer synchronizing it with something I read in an animal medicine cards book about panthers having dots and it relating to places where spirit can easily move. So people who can move with spirit or spirit move through them. This seems intuitively sound as such spots sometimes called sun spots generally carry a positive aesthetic quality.
