Tarot... can we change the future?

Post by alejandrocolon » Tue Jul 31, 2007 3:56 am

Theres is future on tarot reading, can we change it or resign to it?

We know that the fuhrer had tarot readers and other mystic fellows, why they didn´t tell him about his failure on WWII?

Is it possible to have a tarot reading to a victim of murder?

hello again,

It seems you have your sights set on dragging the tarot down :(

The future is not set in stone, we all have the power and freedom to change things that the cards might indicate.

You ask questions and cite historical incidents, were you there? Many famous people of days gone by sought out the advice of the tarot. And many got answers they did not want or like. Perhaps in the case you mention here, the querent decided that as the end and failure was shown it was pertinant to act the way he did? Perhaps the reading did show exactly that? How can we know? And what purpose does it serve to drag these episodes back up again?

Move on! and that is from me, not my cards lol.

Modern tarot readers have a different view, we do no offer bland predictions, we offer a valuable tool of guidance and insight. Tarot can help in almost any situation, if people are willing to listen and perhaps change or modify their behaviour. But many eccentrics do not.

Is it possible to change the outcome of a tarot reading?

Post by rick_saxton » Sat Aug 04, 2007 7:02 pm

Tarot readings are based on principles and circumstances as they exist now and should happen if nothing is done to change them.  But thats the reason for reading tarot in the first place.  To change what you don't like and keep what you do like, and perhaps accept what cannot be changed.  Reading tarot can better be used to find out what the outcome of an action would be and get some ideas of how to modify the outcome if you don't like it.  Another use for tarot reading is to determine the causes of what is happening now.  If we know the causes, we may be able to change things.

Another use for Tarot is meditation and learning about the mental makeup of humans in general and about yourself in particular.  We all have aspects of ourselves that are hidden to us.  We do things we don't want, and don't know why we keep doing them.  Tarot reading can shine some light on these hidden agendas.

Yet another use for tarot is magick.  If you have internalized the meaning of the tarot cards, you can use them in magical rituals and other ways of applying magick to change your life and yourself.  Some book about tarot magick are:

Portable magick
The magick of the tarot
Magick and tarot

Hope, this is helpful,

Rick
