Help with a Tarot spread please

So I did a reading for myself, and I think I understand it. However, I'd very much like some other opinions on it.
I did a 3 card spread for past, present, and future. Also one additional card for best course of action on how to proceed with my issue.
My question was about my relationship with my girlfriend. I have had reason to doubt her faithfulness as of late. I don't really want to whine about it here so here's my cards

Past - The Chariot

Present - The Empress

Future - The Devil

Best Advice - Ace of Swords

Any input would be greatly appreciated, as when it comes to Tarot I am no expert. I really hope I can just get some perspective on things.
