Other preferred Decks?

other than the Rider Waite Deck,
what are the most preferred decks? and why?
could someone specify for beginners and advanced readers?

Well as much as I have heard, The Raider-Waite & The Aquarian Cards are the 2 most preferred by beginners, & many experts too. After that it depends on the person. I would like to try with the Da-Vinci Cards.

I like tarot of the cat people for its straight forward reading another tarot is the arthurian tarot, but interpreting the meanings can be tricky.

The various tarot decks are Llewellyn Tarot, Maat Tarot, Kingdom highway tarot, Universal Goddess tarot

I like the Rider Waite for learners, its the clearest and easiest to read I think. For more advanced I think that it all depends on the reader, what their interests are, I must have around a hundred decks and I am still searching for THE one. One day I will just get round to making my own I think.

Crowley Thoth is ideal... The imagery is amazing, way better than the rider waite...The good thing about the crowley thoth is it shows the astrological sign of the corresponding zodiac which coincides with the tarot...
