Do you call them "Clients"?
Is Client the proper term for the person who gets the reading?
The word "client" in my mind seems to imply that money was received for the reading.
I guess I am also getting the term "client" from many if the Tarot books I use as a reference.
Your thoughts?

A client is usually someone that is a paying customer.
Many different terms can be applied to each person..
Person giving the reading Person receiving or requesting the reading
Reader Querent
Sitter Seeker
Consultant Client
Diviner Questioner
Many more too..
What does everyone else use?

i wouldn't think that client is bad to use but i tend to like to use a more friendly term that doesn't necessary imply "i'm getting money from you and your my paying custumer." if i was to greet someone into a place of business (mine, if i had one) i would use a term like "guest". i would welcome a guest in my shop and consider my shop my home etc. or something along those lines.LisaLisa wrote:Is Client the proper term for the person who gets the reading?

Shall we see if we can come up with a better name for them
Person giving the reading.......forecaster, seer, predictor ?
Person requesting/being given the reading...... Inquirer ?
Any more?
me giving the reading... reader "i'm going to read for you"
not a fan of forecaster or predictor (sounds to fourtine teller type of terms but i do like "seer" sound fun
person getting the reading guest "your my quest would you like a reading" or daugther of eve or son of adam. (i love those terms.)
i like inquirer though.
