Hi Cassie,

Yes I know we have a Rune reading forum, but I'm not going to expand my studies to go into Runes. I think I will be neglecting my studies now.

Boy that must've frustrated you using all those stock meanings? I know as a Tarot reader I found it very hard to 'feel' the runes until I made my own set and went back to the old meanings. Ralph Blum has several books with each set of interpretations with a target in mind, he also has a healing set of runes.

Unlike cards the runes do not necessarily stimulate the intuition so you either know the meaning or you do not?

Why didn't you post the reading here? You keeping ownership of all of this on googledocs is clever

Hi Cassie,

When I do some readings, I feel guided to draw a Rune. Even thought I don't specialise in Runes at all. At times it gives a strong pointer. I've found they were on the mark most of times.

When doing divination, we have a vast number of methods or systems to consult. I've even consulted Dice on the rare occasion. But mostly I use it in conjunction with Tarot.

Hosting everything on Google, just safeguard or keeps a hardcopy in a safe place. I don't think Google will fold easily. I learned a hard lesson when my computer met the road and I lost a lot of info.

I know how to make Runes, but I thought it better not to get involved in too many methods of divination, as I would spread myself to thinly and perhaps have surface knowledge only!

Thanx for your inputs, I wish I knew you were versed in Runes!

This is the new situation arising, your being is been spoken to, not the YOU! Looking at the first two sentences, they clearly indicate Growth and development, this on it's own must point to movement, beyond what you are experiencing now! But, a very important and perhaps vital ingredient is your attitude, and motives, are they pure?

The first Runes asks a question within it's interpritation:
Reversed, Teiwaz, calls for examining your motives carefully. Is it self-conquest with which you are concerned, or are you trying to dominate another? Are you lusting after outcomes, or are you focused on the task for it’s own sake?

Ahhhhh PAYEWACKER! I made it back into the site (after big problems with my account on here) and the help of the Mod.

Anyway, I want to make sure you are thanked because your reading is so precise and relevant to me right now! You don't know the details, but it's right on the money! I really appreciate all the time and insight you put into it.

The Standstill as you pointed out is exactly the present situation. I think, in my understanding and own translation that things will work out with my guy, but I need a period of healing. I need to establish within myself the pure intentions for wanting us to be together again. In fact, I have been working with a therapist to tackle some issues and "my BEING is being spoken to" as you stated like never before. You are so right. It brought tears to my eyes, partly because I really feel I'm making headway and learning something profound about myself, but also because I was touched by your kindness on my thread here. Thank you for helping me.

Hi Cairene.

I'm happy that you are up-and-running again. The reading shows that it is not always one method of divination that can give vast insight into a matter!

Doing the Runes, was a "message" to me and a learning cycle on it's own for me. I just felt totally blocked to do a card reading, and felt the strong urge to define your advice within the Runes.

I really appreciate your response via swetha and also this posting!
