Cat People Tarot Deck

Post by Abhishek » Fri Apr 07, 2006 12:22 pm

The Cat People Tarot Deck blends Science fiction and fantasy, making this tarot deck so stunningly beautiful and mysterious. This deck paints a picture of distant place known as the "Outer Regions," where people have a mystical rapport with their feline (cat) friends. This deck is for the dreamers and idealists. Each card in the Cat People Tarot Deck, is done very well and is full-length portrait of a stunning figure in ornate dress with elaborate jewelry and headdress.

This is not the ideal choice of deck for a starter becuase the symbolism gets confusing.

This deck was created by Karen Kuykendall

Anyone uses this deck?

No i find them intuative and good to use. sometimes they get a bit moody if i don't play with them for a while.

I think thats because i identify with cats, had many cats all through my life and will have many more. My mum had 14 at one point, but we lived in a giant house.

heehee.... ok so Suzi identifies with cats and has a bluebird for an avatar.... thats like me having a chocolate eclair as mine? <gg>

They are lovely cards and I think if you know cats then they are easier to read?

Yeah i would agree with that statement Gem. Yes i know i have a bird as an avatar and that makes me a sick puppy really but it was the colour that drew me to it. I am working on a new avatar but i need to learn how shrick pics to the right size.

Tarot of the Cat People

Post by Annodnyl » Wed May 30, 2007 2:41 pm

The imagery is amazing and the story lines that run through the tarot make the readings easier to interpret. I've used it on myself and have gotten some straight forward readings. :smt006
