I saw this and thought maybe I could share my feelings on the situation for you.
I'd say person A feels somewhat tempted into other directions.They may have felt bound to the relationship and now are finding other ways to spend there time.They may also be involved in addictive activities to keep them from thinking too deeply about the break up.
Person A also feels like this is somewhat of a victory, maybe the break up was something long coming but took quite a while to try and sever.This person could also be feeling quite arrogant and proud at this present time.
Person A also could be feeling like they were stabbed in the back.Was there a possibility of betrayal in this relationship? the ten of swords usually indicates a rather bad ending that could've been due to someone else being dishonest.
