Sharing numbers

I don't know what to think of this, and I would like the opinion from someone with some experience in these matters.

Could it mean something if you share numbers with someone else?

Maybe I should sketch the story. I'm in love with a colleague. He's afraid of commitment, can't start a relationship. He can't say that he doesn't feel anything for me, but can't say that he does either.
Now I'm starting to see that we have some numbers in common in our lives.
First it was the number 44. My house number and his phone number at work.
But since yesterday we have the same number combination on our license plates. I got a new car and had to get a new license plate(you can't choose the numbers yourself, they're given out in alphabetical sequence), and ended up with exactly the same numbers as him(but different letters), 258. To be honest it's freaking me out a little.

So my question: Could it mean something that we are sharing these numbers? And what could the numbers mean?

This could mean the connection is certain:= Either temporary or permanent.

I would say more temporarily Intense, but not Permanent
Sept 2013 & around will be decisive.
