We create our own reality

How we mature and grow tends to be a part of the environment in which we exist.  How nurturing were the parents, teachers, and those who affected our growth?  

Consider...there is no preconceived pattern or life to live (after all if it is all predetermined - why do anything?) but we are creating our reality by the experiences of life we encounter.  We can allow them to affect in whatever way we choose - that is free will.

We have thoughts all across our mind all the time - recently I heard we think a thought at the rate of 2 each and every second.  Imagine the potential!

The source of thoughts has yet to be identified.  IME we think from the ego when we are ego-driven as a being.  We think from a higher source when we practice being of a higher source.

Hi Spirit talk! Thank you for responding. Some years ago a gentleman won the Noble Peace prize. He built what is know today as a cyclotron machine. It is capable of measuring electrical firing between brain cells. What we discovered is that in less then a second the brain was storing about 7 trillion bits of information. Twenty five hundred years ago Buddha said about the same thing in terms of numbers. Not only that but he describes the last few kalapas (mind moments). What is human potential? There are 3 ways of knowing what we are discussing. One is through direct experience. Second is faith. We believe what realized beings are sharing. Lastly, through inference we just reasoned theres much more to all this and thats a tuff position to be in because you don't know it in your guts.  :smt017

Energy is alive and constantly changing. If you learn how to manipulate this energy, and as long as it Harms None, you can create whatever you desire.
Just remember that Karma will be in effect throughout your lives, so always be mindfull.

You must understand that ego does not create. Only the divine self or whatever term your comfortable with creates.

Ego can be motivating the fears that create the negative response to all things.  The Divine energy from source can be changed by our best (or worst) intent.

The ego works within a frame work of laws (karma) and therefor is limited within those confines but be not deceived the ego does not create. Let me leave you with this paradox to ponder- AS LONG AS YOU WANT POWER-YOU CAN"T HAVE IT. BUT THE MINUTE YOU GIVE IT UP - YOU WILL HAVE MORE THEN YOU EVER DREAMED POSSIBLE. THATS A UNIVERSAL LAW.
