Who wears the pants in your family?

My partner and I both wear the pants.  We are a team.  (unless one of his family members insists on something other than what we have decided, they don't see me as part of their family)

Don't we each at different times choose to agree and disagree for what ever reasons, so just because you compromise doesn't mean that you don't still wear the pants or not, but in my case it is me because I'm single.

Many things my wife is much better at, and what she says goes, because i know if i dont listen
i will end up causing problems later, because i'll screw something up.

But some things i know more and i have the pants..

I guess in most relationships any more, they are unisex pants.. just depends on the situation
and subject.

I have to agree with severdsoul, we both were the pants in this family, but my son is convinced that himself and the dog are in charge!!

i'm more of a skirt sorta girl myself ;)

However, figuratively, my house is a constant power struggle. You have my parents, who believe they wear the pants. Then you have me and my brother and sister, who all believe we wear the pants. But me and my brother are still in our teens (not for long now though! eeek) so i think it's probably us who wear the pants. Or trousers, as we call them here.

Pants are underwear here :p
