Stay safe ok
I live in Dickinson, in between Houston and Galveston
we are all holding our breaths here too
I am stocking up and packing up the valueables
loading up my kitties
and going to my family's house in Houston for the weekend
and no telling how long after that
I just watched the news and they expect it to be a category 4 by Sunday night
hopefully they are wrong ot it dies back does and only turns into a rain maker
*HUGS*
My brother is in Sweeney and I know they are holding their breaths too, but it looks like Louisana may get the brunt of it. For the past few weeks, every time I look at the clock, it says 9:11 either am or pm. I just feel we are in for something very bad, and I'm closer inland in Jackson, but I worry about everyone in the coastal regions. Evacs begin in Louisiana to day. They hopefully learned from Katrina. We are staying put, and here in Jackson, there is really no intentions of evac. I just have a very, very bad feeling about this storm/hurricane. I really feel Florida will get the brunt of Hanna. Prediction wise, I can see a third one coming in that will come before or on 9/11. Not to freak any of you out, but I just know this is coming. I'll give more info as it become available to me. Here is a picture of Gustav this morning heading for the gulf of Mexico, where he will pick up more strength.
Gentle Hugs & Stay Safe!
Julie

We have power here because it hasn't hit yet, but I can see it's going to be a complete disaster. Hanna is too close to Gustav, and Gustav will get bigger and pick up more speed before he makes landfall. I have no doubt this will be every bit as bad as Katrina. For everyone that has been asked to evacuate, please, don't stay, get out now!
Gentle Hugs,
Julie

Hurricane Gustav
Dear Julie,
I have a feeling you will be safe and sound but there will be lots of destruction around. I hope and wish all are safe and sound.
