What is love?

I cannot think of a greater love than that which is provided for us by god or the universe or whatever you want to call our great creator! a love which guided me during my lowest time of my life and that still guides me in ways i could not explain. such a unconditional love it brings me more everyday i live and not just that but its just wonderful to see the way people flock to it like moths to a light! I refrain from preaching or telling people what to do or beleive as this something only the true seeker will find AND is available to anyone and everyone . i only wish i could be with this divine love all the time and not be seperated by this illusion called life on earth. Unconditional love is a great healer of all things.....I have found that when I send unconditional love to  situations or relationships that cause distress a transformation occurs and the situations and relationships and are healed.....

Often people in my life have  wondered how I could send love to a person who causes hurt  (intentional or not)....I suppose it is not always easy to explain...but for me I know that Love  in its purest form is healing....

One ray of love sent out can have a ripple effect and transform many....

I need some unconditional love sent my way for my relationship. We've got drama! I'm really close to scrapping it all, whether all my lessons are learned yet or not.

Aw Yes TheAlchemist, strange that this post is here, I have been contemplating the meaning of love lately. Ever since I overheard someone ask another person if there really was something called love that existed. I just read your quoted post above and that is what I have come to believe what love is: (understanding).

Great topic..... Five weeks after I first started dating my husband we both just knew it was to be permanent!..... The first few years we were inseparable and most people where we lived werent used to seeing an inseparable couple walking down the street- people would ask where the other one was if for some reason we were'nt both present!
 Love is a very powerful thing.... It means understanding , forgiveness, acceptance and everything good.... after 7 years together and one child later we are even more in love now!
