i have to share with someone
I met someone recently. He makes me smile. He has a great sense of humour. We flirt. It's just amazing all around. I'm not sure if we will end up dating, but I am confident we will. He is only the second guy I have ever met and haven't guarded myself around.
Everyone can continue on with life now. I just had to share my happiness.

Lovely for you songstress, if he makes you smile then he makes you feel good, hold on there, who knows how your relationship will develop, there's an important factor ......... humour! My late husband was very witty and made me laugh a lot with the things he said, I miss his humour so much and should I ever have a relationship with another man, he would have to be someone with humour. Good luck to you, you seem very happy. x
Vlinder: I am with you on this one. Following the passing of my husband last year, I keep hearing lines from the old song...We sang in the sunshine, we laughed every day. I'll stay one year, then be on my way.
Somehow it helps you cope when you know he would be laughing with you at life's foibles.

aw spirittalk, I got goosebumps reading your message, it must still be all so raw for you. I know exactly how you feel though - I got comfort also from certain songs and, as with you, it would sometimes seem like songs held messages for me, certain lines would stand out, it was the synchronicity of the moment I heard them. I'm sure your husband in spirit is laughing with you, he's drawing your attention to that song and those lines probably to tell you to keep on laughing. A renowned medium I had a sitting with a year after my husband passed gave me that message from my husband. I find myself hearing the witty remarks he would normally make in response to something, and at first even said them out loud to myself and I would have a chuckle.
Keep us posted songstress, would love to read that it's developed into a romance and a relationship with lots of humour in it can never go far wrong!

Thats great news Songstress!
I remember feeling the same way when I met the missus. It is so rare that I am able to instantly let my guard down with someone, takeaway the mask and just be myself. Some people told me she was no good. I got rid of them and kept her. Best thing I ever did.
Rock on,
Rook.
